General Charter Information:

  • Where are your charters located?

    We operate our offshore fishing charters out of Pirate's Cove Marina in Manteo, NC.

  • What areas do you serve?

    We proudly serve anglers in Manteo, Wanchese, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, Oregon Inlet, and all surrounding Outer Banks (OBX) areas.

  • How long are your charters?

    Our offshore fishing charters typically last 10-12 hours.

  • How many people can go on a charter?

    Our 57’ Island Boatworks can accommodate up to six anglers comfortably.

  • What kind of boat do you use?

    We fish from a spacious and well-equipped 57’ Island Boatworks. It features a toilet, air conditioning, an ice box, and a fighting chair for your comfort and convenience.

  • What is the cost of a charter?

    Our full-day Outer Banks fishing charters are $2,500, which covers up to six anglers.

  • Do you offer half-day charters?

    Currently, we only offer full-day offshore charters.

  • What types of fish can we expect to catch?

    We target a variety of offshore species, including Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish, Tilefish, Wahoo, Marlin, and Tuna.

  • What fishing techniques do you use?

    We employ various techniques depending on the target species and conditions, including bottom fishing, kite fishing, popping, trolling, and spinning.

  • Do I need a fishing license?

    Our charter covers your fishing license.

  • Can I keep the fish I catch?

    Yes, you can keep your catch within legal limits and regulations.

  • Do you offer fish cleaning services?

    Yes, we offer fish cleaning services for an additional fee.
